On behalf of the Maryland Chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), I invite you to our 46th Annual Fall Institute. This year’s program, “Innovations in Health Care – Part 2,” will be held from October 4-6, 2017 at the Princess Royale in Ocean City.

 As a chapter, we understand the financial constraints our member’s organizations deal with daily.  We continue to work hard to ensure that the value and experience you receive from the HFMA Fall Institute is maximized. I hope you will take advantage of our “early bird” registration rate or our new member and Fall Institute combined discounted registration rate.

 At the 2017 Fall Institute you can receive up to 13 CPE credits while hearing from an impressive array of industry leaders. Don’t miss our featured national speakers:

  • Former All-Pro Baltimore Raven Matt Stover on “How to Sustain Success. Real Life Experience from one of the NFL's Best”

  • Editor Emeritus of Modern Healthcare, Merrill Goozner’s views on “Beyond Politics: The Shape of the New Healthcare Economy”

  • Master trainer and executive coach Kevin McCarthy presents his workshop “BlindSpots Zone”

Our two executive panels focus on transformation and both panels connect clinical changes to a financial foundation. Don’t miss our Chief Medical Officers joining our CFO’s to discuss innovation and the future.

Lastly, in addition to having an outstanding educational program, we always have great social activities planned. In addition to the traditional golf outing at the Bay Club we will offer a tour of the Seacrets Distilling Company.

Basic registration includes attendance at educational sessions and all meals throughout the two and a half day conference.  Hotel accommodations are not included in the registration fee.  The rates at the Princess Royale start at $69 per night, and can be made online by clicking here.  The deadline for hotel registrations is September 15, 2017.  After September 15th, rooms are subject to availability.

We are offering an early bird discount of $100 if you register before September 15, 2017.  We are also offering a special registration fee for non-members who would like to become members at the time of their registration.  If you chose to attend as a new member please click here (membership application), complete the application and email a pdf to Rachel Cronauer at rcronauer@bhsonline.com or fax to (410) 620-4305.  Your application will be processed and submitted for you. 

Before making your selections please read our cancellation policy as follows:

A refund of the registration fee (less $100 processing charge) will be granted if cancellation is received by September 15, 2017.  NO REFUNDS will be granted after this date.  Substitutions may be made without charge but notification is required.  Substitutions and cancellations must be submitted in writing to Rachel Cronauer at  rcronauer@bhsonline.com.  NO EXCEPTIONS.

Please note that if you cannot attend the entire event, we are offering a daily rate which you will see outlined in the brochure.
