As our reimbursement models shift from a fee for service to a value-based model, we can begin to assemble case studies and experience from these pioneering programs. This presentation will detail the requirements for ACO and PCMH programs and profile a few healthcare organizations that have been successful.

Our speakers include:

Cathy Zito is an experienced healthcare financial professional who has handled a wide range of healthcare financial consulting engagements. She began her healthcare career at Johns Hopkins in budget and finance. She also spent six years with the University of Maryland’s physician faculty practice plan directing the financial operations of the managed care department. She is now the President of Lighthouse Healthcare Advisors which provides healthcare consulting services specializing in revenue cycle improvement, EMR optimization, compliance auditing and training for physician practices.

Gabriella Gold has expertise in strategic planning and daily operations of physician practices. Gabriella has extensive experience in creation and management of ACOs across the Nation including training, operational support, and strategic oversight. In addition to ACOs, Gabriella has extensive experience in other value-based contracts including CareFirst PCMH.
